British Gas is a brand known and trusted by millions of consumers across the UK. Part of the Centrica group, it operates under Nwy Prydain and British Gas in Wales and Scottish Gas in Scotland. As well as supplying gas and electricity to residential customers, it offers millions of people an increasing choice of home services.

Campaign

British Gas customers have the opportunity to recycle their old mobile for cash to spend, save or use towards their utility bills. Branded freepost envelopes are distributed direct to customers through insertion into their bills and bespoke mailings. Phones with no cash value can still be recycled, resulting in a donation to Save the Children. Redeem created a dedicated website which enables customers to check the value of their handset and request freepost envelopes on-line.
