Boots UK offers Advantage Card customers to beat the January blues by going green
15 January 2010
With people across the country struggling to cope with the January blues, Boots UK has a treat in store for Advantage Card customers, offering an opportunity to earn extra rewards by going green.
From 13 January until 23 February, Boots UK customers are being given the chance to earn an additional 200 points on any item they recycle in-store or at www.bootsrecycle.com using special promotional code kiosk4.
For those lucky Advantage Card customers who received a new gadget over Christmas, including mobile phones, MP3 players, iPods or even satellite navigation systems, now have the perfect opportunity to recycle them and earn up to 1,000s of Advantage Card points, and gain an extra special treat from Boots UK to spend in-store or online!
There are a wide range of treats that can be redeemed with Advantage Card points to help set customers on their way to looking and feeling good in 2010.
The campaign also raises money for two of Boots UK’s chosen charities - Breast Cancer Care and The Eve Appeal. For every qualifying mobile phone handed in, Boots donates £1 to charity, with an additional 28 per cent being generated from Gift Aid.
It couldn’t be easier to swap your consumer devices for points. All customers have to do is visit www.bootsrecycle.com or call 08453 70 70 17 to value their phone and be sent a freepost envelope. The site will also tell customers if their printer cartridge is a qualifying model.
Customers can pick up points from any of the Advantage Card Extra Offers kiosks which can be found in larger Boots’ stores.
