Background

Tesco Computer for Schools is one of the retailer’s flagship community programmes. To date the scheme has delivered over €9 million of computer equipment, software and accessories to schools all over Ireland.

Campaign

Recycle with Tesco Computers for Schools allows schools across Ireland to earn extra vouchers all year round by recycling old mobile phones and used printer cartridges. Teachers are able to download educational resources and service their accounts on-line at our dedicated website. The programme’s first year was a resounding success with participating schools earning over 1 million extra vouchers simply by recycling items normally thrown in the bin.
